1. ABOUT THE SERVICE

The Internet's Richest is an online public ranking operated by Fernando Herrero.

Users can create or support ranking entries representing people, creators, companies, websites, organizations, projects, communities or other permitted subjects.

Entries are ordered according to the total amount of accepted contributions associated with each entry.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By accessing or using The Internet's Richest, creating an account, submitting an entry or making a contribution, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the service.

3. HOW THE RANKING WORKS

Each ranking entry has an accumulated contribution total. Contributions made to the same entry are added together.

In general, entries with higher accumulated totals appear above entries with lower totals.

Ranking positions are not permanent. A position may change whenever another contribution, refund, reversal, chargeback, correction or other valid adjustment affects the totals.

The Internet's Richest does not guarantee that an entry will maintain any particular ranking position for any amount of time.

4. WHAT A CONTRIBUTION PROVIDES

A contribution increases the recorded total of the selected ranking entry, subject to successful payment and these Terms.

A contribution may therefore affect the position of an entry within the ranking.

5. VISIBILITY AND PROMOTIONAL LINKS

Ranking entries may contain information intended for public display, including a name, short message and promotional URL.

The service provides ranking visibility only. We do not guarantee traffic, clicks, sales, followers, customers, revenue, publicity or any other commercial result.

The visibility of an entry may vary depending on its ranking position, the device used, pagination and future changes to the service.

6. USER ACCOUNTS

Certain features may require a registered user account.

You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login credentials confidential and taking reasonable measures to protect your account.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

You must contact us promptly if you believe that your account has been accessed without authorization.

7. ENTRIES ARE SEPARATE FROM USER ACCOUNTS

Ranking entries and registered user accounts are separate elements of the service.

A registered user may contribute to multiple entries, and multiple users may contribute to the same entry.

Creating, supporting or contributing to an entry does not automatically establish ownership, representation, endorsement or an official relationship with the person, company, project or other subject named in that entry.

8. CONTENT YOU SUBMIT

You are responsible for the information and links that you submit to the service.

You must have the rights and permissions necessary to submit that content and must not use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

By submitting public content, you authorize The Internet's Richest to display and technically reproduce that content as necessary to operate, present and share the ranking.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to The Internet's Richest.

9. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND USE

You must not use The Internet's Richest to submit, promote, link to or facilitate content or activity that:

• Is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
• Is fraudulent, deceptive or intentionally misleading.
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights or other rights belonging to third parties.
• Contains malware, phishing, credential theft or other harmful software or practices.
• Attempts to manipulate, attack, disrupt or compromise the website or its infrastructure.
• Impersonates another person or organization in a misleading manner.
• Uses the service for harassment, threats or other unlawful abuse.
• Violates payment-provider rules or other applicable contractual or legal restrictions.

10. MODERATION AND REMOVAL

We may review, restrict, hide, correct or remove content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, protect users, respond to rights complaints, address fraud or abuse, or protect the security and integrity of the service.

We may also suspend or restrict accounts involved in serious or repeated violations.

Moderation decisions do not create an obligation to monitor every entry or every external link before it is published.

11. EXTERNAL LINKS

Entries may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.

The Internet's Richest does not control those third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, products, services or privacy practices.

Visiting an external link is at your own discretion.

12. PAYMENTS

Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider identified during checkout.

A contribution is recorded as successful only after the platform receives confirmation that the relevant payment has been successfully completed.

You are responsible for providing valid payment information and for ensuring that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Payment providers may apply their own terms, fraud checks, security procedures and privacy practices.

13. PRICES AND CURRENCY

Contribution amounts and applicable currency are displayed before payment.

Unless otherwise indicated during checkout, ranking totals are displayed in United States dollars (USD).

Your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion, card, international transaction or other fees that are not controlled by The Internet's Richest.

14. REFUNDS

If you believe a payment was duplicated, processed incorrectly or affected by another problem, contact us at:

Refund requests will be reviewed according to the circumstances of the transaction and any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights or refund rights that apply under applicable law.

If a contribution is refunded, reversed or otherwise invalidated, the corresponding amount may be removed from the relevant ranking entry's total.

15. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

If a payment is disputed, reversed or charged back through a bank, card network or payment provider, we may adjust the related contribution and ranking total while the dispute is being investigated or after it has been resolved.

We may provide transaction information to payment processors or financial institutions when reasonably necessary to respond to a legitimate payment dispute.

16. ERRORS AND CORRECTIONS

Technical errors, duplicated transactions, payment processing errors or other incorrect records may be corrected when identified.

Such corrections may affect contribution totals, rankings, user statistics or achievements.

17. AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE

We aim to keep The Internet's Richest available, but continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, security incidents, third-party service failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

18. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE

Features, ranking presentation, technical systems and other aspects of The Internet's Richest may change over time.

We will not intentionally change historical contribution records without a legitimate reason such as refunds, reversals, corrections, fraud prevention, legal requirements or enforcement of these Terms.

19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website, its original design, software, branding and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant users ownership of The Internet's Richest, its software or its branding.

Third-party names, brands and content remain the property of their respective owners.

20. NO ENDORSEMENT

The presence or ranking position of an entry does not mean that The Internet's Richest endorses, verifies, sponsors or recommends that entry.

Similarly, the existence of an entry does not necessarily mean that the person, company, organization or project represented by that entry created it or approved it.

21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Internet's Richest is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from user-submitted content, third-party websites, ranking changes, service interruptions or use of the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

22. TERMINATION OR RESTRICTION

Access to an account or feature may be restricted or suspended when reasonably necessary because of fraud, security risks, serious Terms violations, legal requirements or abuse of the service.

Ending or restricting an account does not necessarily require deletion of transaction records that must be kept for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute-related purposes.

23. PRIVACY

Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy .

24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These Terms may be updated when the service, applicable law or operational requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page together with its most recent update date.

25. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by applicable Spanish law, without limiting any mandatory protections that may apply to consumers under the laws that cannot legally be excluded.
